Biography:
Blain Overstreet was born and raised in Searcy, Arkansas. While attending Searcy High School, he enjoyed participating in numerous extracurricular activities, including being a member and team captain of the baseball and football team. Upon his graduation from Searcy High School in 2001, Mr. Overstreet enrolled at the University of Arkansas.
At the University of Arkansas, he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and received various honors for his leadership and academics, including the distinguished William H. Rainwater Fellowship Scholarship. While attending the University of Arkansas, Mr. Overstreet was fortunate enough to gain extensive experience within the banking and investment industry through numerous positions held during his employment with First Security Bancorp. Mr. Overstreet thereafter earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from the Sam M. Walton College of Business in 2006, and later that year enrolled in the University of Arkansas School of Law.
While in law school, Mr. Overstreet was a member of various organizations and honor societies, including the Business Legal Society, Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and Phi Delta Phi. During his time at the University of Arkansas School of Law he excelled in the classroom and was named to the Dean’s List on five separate occasions.
Mr. Overstreet first began his employment with Jack Nelson Jones & Bryant, P.A. in the Summer of 2008 as a law clerk in the firm’s Little Rock office while attending the University of Arkansas School of Law.
Mr. Overstreet is an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. In his spare time, he enjoys sporting and outdoor activities of all kinds, as well as spending time with his friends and family, which includes his parents Gary and Carol, and his two brothers Morgan and Tyson.
