Biography:
Having grown up in El Dorado, Arkansas, John K. Helbling graduated from Parkers Chapel High School in 2002. Mr. Helbling graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2006, summa cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Economics. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2009, where he was also a staff editor of the Mississippi Law Journal.
Mr. Helbling first began working for Jack, Lyon & Jones, P.A., now Jack Nelson Jones Jiles & Gregory, P.A., as a runner in the firm’s Conway office while attending UCA. In 2008 he joined Jack Nelson Jones Jiles & Gregory, P.A. as a law clerk in the firm’s Little Rock office, and in April of 2010 he returned to the firm once again as an associate.
Prior to joining JACK NELSON JONES JILES & GREGORY, P.A., Mr. Helbling held an of counsel position with Gregory & LaRue, PLLC, where he primarily practiced Labor and Employment Litigation.
In his spare time, Mr. Helbling enjoys playing guitar, weight-lifting, and fishing.
