Biography: For more than twenty-three of his more than thirty-one years as an attorney, Mr. Creasman has served as Chief Legal Officer or General Counsel of various publicly and privately held companies. Immediately before joining the firm he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Alltel, the Little-Rock based telecommunications company that merged with Verizon in January 2009, in a $28 Billion transaction. Companies for which he has served as General Counsel include information technology, foodservice, distribution, and manufacturing companies. Including frozen yogurt manufacturer and frachise "TCBY" based in Little Rock, and Wrangler Europe, based in Brussels, Belgium. At one NYSE-listed company, Mr. Creasman served as the company’s risk manager and General Counsel, and at an NASDAQ-listed company he served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel. In every position and for every client he has advised over the years, he has consistently achieved demonstrable and significant cost savings while improving the quality and transparency (to management) of legal services for the company or client.
Other: Mr. Creasman has over the years served as a Commercial Panelist for the American Arbitration Association. He has also taught The Law of Franchising and The Law of Advertising seminars as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Law, University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Among his various pro bono activities, Mr. Creasman serves as a member of the Board of Directors of The Center for Arkansas Legal Services.
