Biography:
Malcolm Bobo was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi on September 30, 1960. Mr. Bobo received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Baylor University in 1982 and his Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University in 1985.
From 1986 to 1989, Mr. Bobo worked with the law firm of Eaton and Embry where the focus of his practice was bankruptcy law.
From 1989 to 2000, Mr. Bobo was an attorney with the Arkansas Department of Finance & Administration, Division of Revenue. During the last eight years, Mr. Bobo served as the litigation supervisor and was responsible for monitoring all cases and assisting the eleven other attorneys with litigation in both state and federal courts. His responsibilities also included the general duties of a Revenue Tax Attorney, which included providing legal representation and advice to the corporate and individual income tax, sales and use tax, motor fuel tax, miscellaneous tax, tax incentives for economic development, driver’s license and motor vehicles sections within the Division of Revenue.
Since May of 2000, Mr. Bobo has been in private practice with Jack Nelson Jones Fink Jiles & Gregory, P.A. formerly Jack, Lyon & Jones, P. A. The focus of Mr. Bobo’s practice is state and local tax matters.
Mr. Bobo enjoys water skiing, hunting and camping.
