Commercial Litigation
A substantial component of Jack Nelson Jones Fink Jiles & Gregory, P.A.'s practice involves general commercial litigation that includes a wide array of substantive legal areas. The firm's commercial litigation is closely coordinated with the firm's other areas of practice to meet the needs of clients. This coordination benefits clients who also use the firm for corporate representation as the institutional knowledge of the firm's corporate attorneys can be shared with the litigators for a smooth transition between practice areas.
Representative of our diversity, the firm's commercial litigation practice includes both plaintiff and defense representation in a variety of contract disputes, lease disputes and property issues. Our attorneys have represented the Boards of Directors of banks and other public companies as special counsel in the defense of various shareholder derivative and class action suits. Additionally, the firm has developed a particular emphasis on non-competition agreement litigation relating to employment situations and business acquisitions.
